Scripture: Lamentations 3:22-23 - "The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to refocus our spiritual lives and realign our priorities with God's will. Just as God's mercies are new every morning, each new year brings fresh opportunities for growth, transformation, and deeper intimacy with Him.

Practical Steps for Starting Strong:

• Commit to Daily Prayer: Set aside specific time each day to commune with God
• Read Through the Bible: Use a Bible reading plan to systematically read God's Word
• Set Spiritual Goals: Identify areas for growth and set specific, measurable goals
• Join a Small Group: Connect with others for accountability and encouragement
• Serve in Ministry: Use your gifts to bless others and build God's kingdom

Remember, God is not looking for perfection but for progression. Each day is an opportunity to grow closer to Him and become more like Christ.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new year. Help me to begin it with my heart focused on You. Give me wisdom to set godly priorities and discipline to follow through. May this year be marked by spiritual growth, deeper intimacy with You, and greater effectiveness for Your kingdom. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14 - "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

One of the greatest gifts God gives us is the opportunity for a fresh start. No matter what happened in the past year - mistakes made, opportunities missed, prayers seemingly unanswered - God invites us to leave it behind and press forward.

Paul understood this principle when he wrote about forgetting what is behind. He wasn't suggesting we have spiritual amnesia, but rather that we don't allow our past to define or limit our future in Christ.

Keys to Embracing Your Fresh Start:

• Receive God's Forgiveness: Confess any known sin and receive His complete forgiveness (1 John 1:9)
• Forgive Yourself: Stop carrying guilt for what God has already forgiven
• Forgive Others: Release those who have wronged you from your judgment
• Set New Goals: Focus on what God wants to do in and through you this year
• Take Daily Steps: Progress happens one faithful step at a time

Today is the first day of the rest of your life with God. Don't waste another moment looking backward when God is calling you forward.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the fresh start You offer me today. Help me to leave behind past failures, disappointments, and regrets. Give me the courage to forgive as I have been forgiven. Fill me with hope for the future and faith to take the next step You have for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Beloved church family,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! As we stand at the beginning of a new year, my heart is filled with gratitude and expectation.

Looking back at 2025, we witnessed God's faithfulness in remarkable ways. We saw lives transformed, families restored, and our community impacted by the love of Christ. I thank each of you for your faithfulness, generosity, and service that made these victories possible.

As we look toward 2026, I believe God is preparing us for even greater things. The theme He has given us for this year is "Divine Acceleration and Supernatural Increase." Based on Isaiah 60:22, we believe this will be a year where God does things swiftly and multiplies our effectiveness.

Here's what I believe God wants to do in our church family this year:

• Bring healing and restoration to broken relationships
• Provide breakthrough in long-standing challenges
• Open new doors for ministry and outreach
• Multiply our resources for greater kingdom impact
• Deepen our intimacy with Him through prayer and worship

Let's enter this new year with faith, expectation, and a commitment to walk in obedience to God's Word. Together, we will see great things happen!

We give all glory to God for an incredible New Year's Eve service! Over 300 people gathered for our Cross Over Night service from 8:00 PM on December 31st to 6:00 AM on January 1st.

Service Highlights:

• Powerful worship sessions led by our worship team and choir
• Anointed teaching from Dr. Robinson Masembe on "Entering Your New Season"
• Testimonies of God's faithfulness throughout 2025
• Corporate prayer and dedication for 2026 at midnight
• Communion service to remember Christ's sacrifice
• Fellowship and refreshments following the service

At midnight, we gathered for a special time of prayer and dedication. Dr. Masembe led us in committing 2026 to the Lord and praying for:

• God's protection and guidance for our church family
• Breakthrough in our personal lives and families
• Divine acceleration in our careers and ministries
• Supernatural increase in our church and community impact

We're already seeing God move as we begin this new year, and we believe this is just the beginning of what He wants to do in and through our church family!

We're excited to share about our successful January outreach program held on January 15th. This annual event helps families in our community start the new year with hope and practical support.

Outreach Results:

• 215 families received food packages
• 150 children received new clothing and school supplies
• 75 people made decisions to follow Christ
• 40 people received prayer for specific needs
• 25 families were connected with ongoing support programs

Testimonies from the outreach include:

• A single mother of three who had been struggling to provide for her family expressed gratitude for the food and clothing
• An elderly man who had been isolated received prayer and connection with our visitation team
• Several young people committed their lives to Christ and are now attending our youth ministry

We want to thank all the volunteers who served tirelessly to make this outreach possible. Your generosity and compassion demonstrated God's love in practical ways to our community.

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our expanded youth ministry programs for 2026! With over 150 young people regularly attending, we're implementing new initiatives to better disciple and equip this vital generation.

New Programs for 2026:

• Youth Leadership Academy: A 12-month program developing leadership skills through mentorship, training, and practical ministry experience
• Creative Arts Collective: New opportunities in worship arts, drama, dance, and visual arts with weekly workshops
• Digital Discipleship: Online Bible studies and devotionals through our new youth app
• Missions Preparation: Training for our summer mission trip to neighboring communities

We're also excited to announce our theme for youth ministry in 2026: "Arise and Shine" based on Isaiah 60:1. Our focus will be on helping young people discover their identity in Christ and their purpose in God's kingdom.
